LH Surge advise PLEASE!

i had my US toady and there are 14 follicles, which is great, I also had a BT, nurse called me to let me know I needed to take the Cetrotide (antagonist) asap, as I had started to surge, now I have to go and have another blood test tomorrow to check how all is going? I'm on day 6 of Gonal F 300, anyone else experienced anything like this or have any advice for me? Nurse said my levels were showing beginning of surge and that I shouldn't have ovulated, but no guarantees. This is my first IVF and I have no Idea what to think. Thank you for any advice

Unfortunately it's all a bit of guess work first time round as they try to figure out the right meds & doseage. Even the 2nd, or 3rd time...
Hopefully the cetrotide will keep things in check.
