Swelling at 16 weeks

Hi All,

I have got swollen fingers, feet and legs already and am only 16 weeks (tomorrow). Does anyone know what can help relieve this and / or what could be causing it?

Get checked by your doctor immediately. This is a sign of preeclampsia. He will need to check your blood pressure and have a urine sample checked and then you will need to be monitored closely. I had this but not until closer to the end of the pregnancy. Hope I am wrong and it is just water retention but get it checked out.

I had lots of swelling -i looked like the michelin man. definitely worth getting checked out especially if you have headaches or anything else going on but it might just be pregnancy.
