how spooky, door keeps closing !!!

Hi all,

Well as of the day after i had a group of BB gals at my home for breakfast a few weeks ago (we won't mention Maz was one of them, lol ), ever since my spare bedroom door i keep finding it closed even though i have left it wide open

I find it closed (only once i found it totally shut) every single day since then, the first couple of weeks i would find the door that was opened closed anything up to a several times a day or night ... now the past week it's about 2-3 times per day or night.

I have never witnessed the door actually closing, i just find it closed ... even only 5mins after i have opened it !!!

The window in the room is never open so it can't be a wind forcing it closed and also the window is too far from the door to do so.

I have stood behind the door pushing it lightly to see if it would close easily on it's own but it does need a lot more force for it to close. I then thought well this is a 73year old weatherboard house that can differ with weather but nope that makes no difference to the door.

This particular room ever since we purchased the house over 5years ago it is either freezing cold in Winter (even though not far from a wall heater in the hallway) or stinking hot in Summer.

DP and i have never had any negative vibes since living in the house yet the past year we have 'felt' like there is something in a particular spot in the house (but not in this room).

I have once stood at the door entrance and said " Hello is there anyone in here ", of course if anyone did answer or appear i would have most likely peed my pants, lol

Well my question is has anyone experienced anything like this, in finding a wide open door suddenly or later on closed when no one has been near the room ?

It doesn't seem to bother me only that i like the door open to this particular room when my DD's bedroom next to it can get really warm when the hallway heater is on.

well that's just freaky cause since the day i put this thread on it hasn't happened again ... now that's weird but good of course, maybe someone or something is reading over my shoulder

Very creepy! I don't find doors shut but often feel a hand on my shoulder! It happens a lot, once I say "go away" it stops for months. Maybe you could try that?

I often find the lid of my washing machine open (mid wash) when I know I have closed it

There was also a period at the beginning of the year just before my grandmother passed when DS's musical toys would start to play on their own and his rocker would start rocking when he was in it sound asleep. Maybe his Guardian Angel was just checking up on him?
