Went to a musical last night called "Menopause, the musical" lol and it was hysterical. They had so many popular songs that they had written different words for (all about menopause of course) and they were singing all about "Night Sweats" and "Flushing" lol. One song that one of the ladies sang went like this

    I'm having a hot flush
    A tropical hot flush
My personal summer is really a bummer
    I'm having a hot flush

Comes on like a head rush
    No warning just hot flush
Outside it is nippy, but I'm hot and drippy
    I'm having a hot flush

If you get a chance to see it then go, very good for a laugh.

    Hi everyone,
Olive had her second birthday today. She had an absolute ball and got spoiled rotten. The bottle fairy came and she has adapted really well, going to sleep in the day and tonight with no fuss really. She got a new sippy cup for her b'day though so that was a good distraction. She had a really full on day though so will have to see how she copes over the next few days. I was quite worried as she has been really clingy with me lately and i'm so tired and didn't want to spend half the night in her room but so far so good - quick touch wood. So proud of my girl.
I'm also 24wks today which is exciting and as of this week get more time off work - yeah.

Hope you had a wonderful birthday Olive and CW how has she gone without the bottle??

Leigh - the musical was hysterical. Very good night out.

Well not much happening here atm. Just waiting until Saturday (my birthday) then Tuesday (Meara's birthday and scan day). We think we will just do a small family party with just us. My mum won't come as she thinks driving for 40 mins is way to far away and I don't really like my closest sibling lol. Davids' sister and family might come up from the Central Coast but not sure. I can't believe our babies are 2!!!!! So for 2 years now I have known you wonderful ladies. Thanks for all the advice and help and comfort when it was needed. May we "know" each other for many more years to come

CW, I'm glad Olive had a wonderful birthday & that the bottle fairy coming was easier than you thought!

Kim, that's a shame about your mum. DH's parents are like that with us & the kids, plus they don't even bother with a card or phone call either. Lara's bday is the same day as Meara. And do you know that most of us from our old Nov 16-30 due date group is either pregnant or had another bub.

Leigh - yes I did realise that statistic lol must be something in the water Happy birthday to Lara as well. The 26th was a great day

didi - happy belated birthday to Jorda

Well I went bra shopping today and OMG I never realised how out I was on the size that I should have been wearing. I have been a 16DD for so long and I have gone up to a 16E in maternity but when I got fitted today I'm actually a 14G. I'm only 12 weeks pregnant so I'm now wondering what size I'm going to end up???? And that G stands for God I'm Ginormous lol

Lara is 2 today. Can't believe it, 2 already. Poor little girl is sick with a cold at the moment. She's actually asleep on my lap right now, very strange for her as she doesn't usually sit still on my lap for more than a few mins.

Didi, ur lucky jorda is potty trained. Lara is refusing to wear nappies at the moment. Takes them off. If I go & tell her to sit on the potty she does but she still hasn't done anything in it. I don't know what to do coz we've had a few accidents on the floor coz she hates nappies.

Also happy b'day meara as well. Kim how'd ur scan go?

Happy Birthday to Meara and Lara.

Leigh - had the scan and the sonographer said that everything looked good. He didn't measure the neck part in front of me though so still a little niggle in my mind about that but he did say it looked ok. Froggie is measuring bigger than what it is though at 13w1d but I do tend towards bigger bubs. Here's hoping that the blood test and the NT scan together come back with a good reading.

didi - Meara is mostly potty trained to. She would prefer to be a rudey nudey but I bought her some knickers yesterday so that she can start wearinng those throughout the day. Will have to get the preschool involved as well.

As you can see I'm having trouble with a bit of insomnia. Aaaarrrggghhhhh I hate this part of pregnancy

Well the scan and blood tests results came back and I have to go for another amnio. Will find out more on Tuesday at my appointment and what ratio it is. So unhappy and worried about it now as my age is against me. Also have infected sinuses so in heaps of pain. Until the antibiotics kick in I just want to curl up and cry

Kim, my fingers are crossed everything turns out ok. Try and stay positive (easier said than done I know). How long does it take for the results to come back after the amnio? Will u find out the sex?
