    Kicking off wraps and sheets

My clever little man has discovered that its really fun to kick off all the sheets and wraps in the middle of the night. He first discovered how to do it when it was a hot day, and I woke up at about 2am to find his muslin wrap and cotton sheet at the bottom of the bassinette. He was sound asleep, but his arms were cold. We had a fun 1/2 hour or so with me wrapping him up, and him kicking it off again.

Now its freezing cold again and I found him this morning with the flannelette wrap, flannelette sheets and blanket down the bottom of the bassinette, and his hands freezing cold.

We are half wrapping him (from under the armpits) as he cannot stand anything around his hands. I have winter sleeping bags - should I be putting him in that? And what should I do for summer - I don't want him to overheat but I don't want him freezing either? I'm also frightened that he will somehow smother himself in the balnkets and sheets he has kicked off.

    Thanks for your help.

Gro Bags and Slumber Sacs come with room thermometers and different 'togs' for different temperatures makes it easy to know which bag to use cool designs too. You can get bags for all seasons. HTH

Palmer has done this all her life...can't keep a blanket on her, no matter what the temperature. On cold nights we just use two layers of PJs!
