Geelong Show - what a day

The kids had been looking forward to going to the Geelong Show for weeks, yesterday was the day. The public car park was closed so I drove around looking for a park for 45min, in this time I saw a minor car accident and a motorcyclist get hit by a car, thank goodness the kids didn't see this, made me feel sick in the stomach. Finally find a park, 20min walk away in the rain, never mind we are in. DD9 goes on the jumping castle, comes off coughing and says she needs her ventolin. Look through my bag, guess what, no ventolin. I said if she is bad we will have to go home, she says she is ok. Walking around she is still coughing and tells me she really needs her ventolin. Take her to the first aid tent hoping they will have a puffer, wow looked like a mini hospital. There was a doctor and ambos, they gave her ventolin, listened to her chest and she was fine. Then finally we enjoyed the rest of the show.

    Regards,
    Dianne

We were there yesterday, my first time ever! The car park was closed then too. They said it was too muddy but seeing as we have a 4WD we wouldn't have cared!
Glad the first aid had ventolin and you were able to have some fun!
