My goal was 18 months but seeing as it was on DS's terms I'm happy. Being an unexpected pregnancy I never envisioned my breasts being used for such things at age 23. There was a lot of emotional baggage surrounding my pg and it took me a long time to get comfortable with the idea of breastfeeding. But we did it! 16 months and around 25 days, 9 months of those exclusive and without one drop of formula. It feels pretty good.
