Has anyone used homeopathic vax and are they all the same?
We are thinking of doing this for DS2 at his 12month schedule.
Can you do this then still get needles later on? Does that make sense?
I guess at the end of the day it's up to you to see if you subscribe to the notion of Homeopathy. I'm a Naturopathic student, and personally I don't follow homeopathy - BUT this is my choice, as it is your choice to vaccinate or not, in which ever way you choose.
What ever you do, make it an informed decision, feel comfortable about what you do, and have no regrets.
Between Naturopathy and Homeopathy? Well naturopathy is based on vitality and the bodies inherant ability to heal itself. We use a lot of herbal remedies and nutritional supplements.
Homeopathy (the limited amount I know about it) is based on the theory of 'like cures like'. So using a technique called 'succussion' the vibrational energy from the original toxin, poison or extract that is believed to cure an ailment, is transferred into the tincture for use. It certainly is interesting, read a bit about it and see if it's something you are interested in.

Yep, not surprisingly, I am declaring myself a homeo-sceptic here. Homeopathy has no effect other than a placebo, it is just water. Sure it’s fine to use conventional vaccinations after a homeopathic vaccination because a homeopathic vaccination has no effect.
By all means use homeopathy if it works for you, the placebo effect is indeed very powerful (I often think it would be nice for GPs to be able to prescribe placebos to certain patients, "Here Mrs Difficult Patient, take one of these placebo pills before bed and you’ll feel much better in a few days.") and the placebo effect certainly doesn’t do you any harm, it’s fantastic and free! But if you really need a treatment that will actually work, to stop the damage of a disease or condition or to prevent damage, then perhaps it’s not the best treatment for you or your family.
Thanks girls...I just did some reading after reading your post Kim as i knew what to look for and I dont think that the homeopathic will be the path...its really hard to decide what is the best path. DS1 was vaxed on schedule, DS@ was delayed..I mat just delay it a bit longer and then make up my mind.....I like to be informed but some of the info is scary
I am another one who is very sceptical about homeopathic "vaccination". There is no proof it has any efficacy at all. I am all for your right to choose, but along with the choice not to vaccinate comes the responsibility to adjust your lifestyle and parenting style to accommodate and reduce the risk of contracting the more serious vaccine preventable diseases. My concern is that some parents might feel that they have been afforded some sort of protection from disease by these homeopathic vaccinations, where in fact they have not.
Can someone why homeopathically vaccinates answer me a question please?
If there is no active ingredient left in the vaccine and there is only a memory left in the water, how do you remove all the other memories from everything thats ever touched water since the beginning of time?
