Tell me the names of GREAT hotels in Singapore

    Hey Ladies,

Due to our visa requirements, we are required to leave the country (China) in Feb to renew the validity of them.

We are looking at having a week in Singapore in Feb 2011. One with a great pool, kids activities, nice restaurants & close to all the shopping.

    Ideas anyone?

    Hey Jayne,

Im a travel agent and our most popular ones are the Traders Hotel and the Parkroyal. The Ibis on Bencoolen is ok for a budget hotel (3 star) its in a good location.

    Aim x

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Orchid City a few years ago. It's right near Orchard Rd (shopping) and Newton Circus (food) is close by. Breakfast at the hotel was awesome too....everything you could ever imagine lol! It has a nice pool, not too sure about kids activities though.

ETA: you have to do Sentosa, the kids will love it!

Any hotel on Clarke Quay, you won't want to stay anywhere else!!

Novotel is there and a heap of others, but one awesome one is the Swissotel Merchant Court. Right on the water, all these wonderful restaurants, it's such a great place to stay.

If you'd rather be near Orchard Rd where most of the shopping is, Swissotel Stamford Arms is also fantastic.
