I have a group interview on saturday and the lady told me on the phone that i may have to sell myself to the rest of the group or get into pairs with someone and then 'sell' them...
Can you remember a TV ad where she was doing her weakness? Shoes? And in the ad, she was going for a job with a fashion store?
best thing to do for me is to write down previous jobs (paid / unpaid) and list something in each one that you're really proud of. Look at each one and flesh it out with dot points. Otherwise, look at your hobbies and stuff and do the same thing. Scrapbook? Wow, you see the artistic merit of an orange bag and use that! In one of my group interviews, I was told to sell something. I LOVE ****tails! so I went and asked the interviewer what her fave liqueur was, it was baileys, so I described a toblerone ****tail to her.
If you have to sell someone else, take notes on a small pad when you talk to them, ask them the same thing. Good luck!

It is also good to remember the SAO theory (situation, action, outcome) so when you are selling yourself you need to remember all 3 parts- especially the outcome part. I am really good because during this time I did this and as a result this happened.
Quite often we remember to talk about what we have done, but gloss over the fantastic things that occured because we had done those actions!
