Question gastro in a newborn :(

I feel so bad right now.

DD just vomitted. Not posseting, vomit. DS woke up & threw up at 3 & 8 this morning.
I don't know why, I've stayed home to avoid something like this happening.

What do I do? When do I take her to see someone? She's 2 weeks tomorrow.
Its only been once so far, 10 minutes ago, but I'm thinking the next feed will probably do the same, but I know I can't stop feeding her.

Don't feel bad hun, unfortunately these things happen. I would keep feeding her as much as you can, even if she throws it up again. If she throws up again I would be taking her to see someone. Dehydration can hit hard when they are so little. Keep an eye on her nappies and keep feeding as much as possible. Poor darling, good luck I hope it passes really quickly.

Hugs hun its not your fault.

Feed her and keep an eye on her nappies, if she vomits after next feed take her to be checked out.

it's just unlucky, you did all the 'right' things to try & avoid it.

i hope it was just a once of, that your DS is feeling better soon & you get some rest. any chance you & DD can go back to bed while someone else watches the others?

Don't feel bad. DD got gastro at 4 weeks we were told just to keep feeding her and if she stopped having wet nappies to take her straight to the hospital. But keep watching her if shes not better by tomorrow maybe see a doctor or even take her to the hospital.

    dont beat yourself up

Like the others have said, keep feeding her. Breastmilk is the best thing for her right now.
