    rings for ring sling?

does anyone know where I can buy just the rings for a ring sling? I've tried googling but it only came up with the slings themselves. I'm about to try ebay but I'd rather find an online supplier instead. thanks in advance

Please, please, please do not use curtain rod rings (sorry Tanya!). They are not designed to weight bear and are not safe for baby carriers, especially as the rings are a significant pressure point when tightening a carrier. There have been incidences where haberdashery rings have broken during use and they can cause serious injury. If you are going to use rings that are not specific for babywearingthen you can safely use mariners rings, but they are much heavier and aren't very comfortable. The WeeWuns do have proper sling rings, they source from slingrings in the states - you can buy direct from slingrings too in small quantities at a much cheaper price.

cool thanks Lime Slice I found them! They are a bit pricey though, think I might take suse's advice about slingrings though now that the Aussie dollar makes it so good for buying from the US at the moment and thanks for the tip about the curtain rings, good idea though Tanya, I thought the wooden ones would be pretty strong but I might stick with the ones made for slings.
