    Question Kennards event hire

I'm having a family BBQ for my birthday and there will be 20 people (13 adults and 7 children) so i need to hire tables and chairs for everyone to sit on.

Does anyone know how much kennards charges for just basic tables and chairs?

    TIA

Oh the children will be sitting on the ground.

You don't have anyone you can borrow chairs from? Even folding/camping chairs etc, you can probably rack up 20 if you do a ring around...

You can buy cheap outdoor chairs from Bunnings or discount stores for less than $10 each usually, might be a better way of doing it.

If you are going to buy chairs don't get them for outdoors only. we bought some black ones that fold up so when we have extra people for meals they look good inside. I think we bought them from Bunnings. If you are going to hire it most likely will be cheaper to buy an outdoor setting, you will get alot of use out of it.
Some places have treasle tables for about $60, I think SIL got hers from Reject or Go-Lo

Ask around, most people don't mind bring a chair or two.

You can get cheap fold up tables (what Rivlas mentioned) from anyway now even at bunnings or office works. Never seen them for more than $70.

We picked up a heap of Ikea stools to keep in the garage - they were about $7 each and then asked a few people to BYO chair!

usually much cheapper to buy cheap plastic chairs from bunnings or kmart, etc, then to hire them. If you want a FREE table (It is an old Wooden table that fits 8 when extended) let me know, only proviso is I don't want it back

we got two 6 foot trestle tables from bunnings for our wedding which I prettied up....cost around the $60 mark each and you can get nice inexpensive chairs at heaps of places...the trestles we got are UV stabilised plastic so are going to last a long time, we use them every christmas to make a huge long dining table and for all sorts of occassions...if you plan to have parties they are a good investment.
