Smile Boys 1st bday present ideas..

Ahh my little man is turning ONE NEXT MONTH!!!

No idea what to buy him...

With DD the "stand out" gift was a dolly and pram. But I'm so clueless on what a boy would like...

I was thinking a little tent thing.. Fisher Price had one a while ago, a little dome with a door, doorbell. Was pretty cool. One of DD's friends had it, and they all LOVED it. But i can't find anything like it around. They're all just basic little dome tents now - BORING!

Any ideas would be much appreciated x

We bought DS1 a ride on Thomas the tank engine that makes noises, plus some books and other random things.

DS2 will be getting fisher price rock and spin zebra and some other things.

J got one of those little three wheeler trike things with a trailer - awesome, both he and Iz still use them now and are 2 and 3.5. We also have a ride on Thomas for inside, lots of trains and train tracks plus the train table (Thomas obsessed much) and another thing that we got for Iz at 1 was the Fisher Price laugh and learn house thing. They both still play with it now.

Our DS2 will be getting the Vtech ride on alphabet train - on sale at toyworld. I like it because it will keep him amused inside and on the deck when it's yucky weather. He can ride it or just play with the buttons etc. He will also get books, never have too many of them. And some sort of blocks or stacking cups.

We got DS a bike (with trailer thing) and he also got a ride on thomas, ride on john deere thing, and another bike. He was overwhelmed with which one to stick his butt on.

We also had the play dome thing with the doorbell, but honestly, the kids didn't play with it that much - not as much as I would have expected.

He also got a rocking horse from my friends, and loved it - he still jumps on it now (wonder he doesn't break it actually)

    Ooo Thanks ladies!
Sorry about the late reply, for some reason I wasn't getting notifications

I really love the idea of the playhouse thingo with doorbell. I've been looking EVERYWHERE for one!! But I' finding most of them are really babyish, so not really toddlerish, iykwim. Anyone know where I can find one? Ive tried Kmart, toysrus, and bigw.... hmmm
Also love the idea of the ride on trike with trailier!! Might suggest that one to to DH.

The bounce zebra he is getting for xmas! Can't wait for it! I've heard good things of it!

Thanks again, I appreciate you all taking the time to reply

We got one with a bike, trailer, bucket, shovel, rake, lawnmower and hoe, it was the best gift because he uses it everyday and has since he was one, so almost 365 days of use so far lol
It was only $39 on special at toys r us and it normally $59 full price
