    Strange pain

Hi girls- just wondering if this is normal. I am 30 weeks pregnant and having occasional short/sharp pains where I would assume the cervix to be. Could it just be the bubs poking around as I am getting most of my movement down really low. I've been having it for a couple of days on and off but it has happened a few more times this morning and seems more often. Is this anything I should worry about?

Sounds like baby is bouncing around down there getting your cervix ready. I got those sharp pains quite regularly. They would literally make 'me jump out of my chair sometimes! Hehe. Like little electric shocks. I don't think it's anything to worry about but if you are just give your ob or midwife a call xx

I think it is totally normal hun, I found quite a few times in the 3rd trimester I would get all sorts of sharp pains shooting down into my foofie (there is that word just for Lulu) and I would assume that it was bub kicking away or punching away later on and then bubs head engaging and causing all sorts of havoc. It isn't comfy at all is it So I hope bub moves and doesn't cause you too much more pain. I remember walking through the shops one time and because of the pain I had to walk with my legs so far apart it looked like I had a massive pole up my bot! Nice look! xoxoxo

Thank you girls. I had kinda come to the same conclusion- that it was bubs testing the emergency exit!!
Guess it's just the first of many new sensations I have to look forward to in the third trimester hey??

    hey glenny...

ive just spoken to my OB about some sharp shooting pains ive had and he said it would be babies head on the cervix.

we already knew my bubs head was right down there but he said its likely she is bouncing up and down on there...

fun and games it is hey?!!?
