    Question Wildlife ??

My girls LOVE animals, they both love our dogs and DD1 basically loves anything that moves and has no hesitation in patting lizards or frogs and i got told off this morning for killing a spider.

So this morning we found a frog (possibly an endangered growling grass frog) in the dogs bowl.
He's currently in a tub with some rocks, some water and some things to climb on sitting in the bath tub, getting a rest from the fright of our dogs and for DD1 to show daddy when her gets home.
Then we will take him down to the dam where we can hear all the other frogs on a regular basis.

About 30min ago a lady stops and asks for directions, i am still not 100% on the area so told her to come in while i checked whereis.
She had a gorgeous baby possum tucked into her top then said would you like to come see my Joey.. there was the most gorgeous little kangaroo in her car.
He let me give him a little pat, DD would have LOVED to see him, i was so tempted to go wake her up.

I was wondering if anyone here offers there home to injured animals, whats involved and how do you go about doing it?
Is it expensive and do you have to have any training or experience?

It was gorgeous the way this little Joey reacted to the woman opening the car door, he answered to his name and popped out of the little 'pouch' she'd made him.

Just wondering is all... and if you do do it to you.. what a wonderful thing to offer your home to help the needy!

I don't foster to injured wildlife, but I do agree it is a wonderful thing to do.
I hope it's something I can do when I retirer.
