    mould on car seat

I have just got my Maxi rider out of the shed to clean for my DD ( so bub can have her seat) and it has got mold on the straps. Is there any safe way to clean this or an i needing to get a new seat?
i just used a cloth and hot water to wipe them over to see what was left and there are still mold stains
    What can i do??

I've got mould out of prams and seat belts before using home brand Exit Mould.

Spray it on and leave it sit for a few mins then hose it down and scrub them with soapy water or if they are able to come off the seat I put them in the washing machine. It's never bleached them either.

you should be able to remove the straps completely & put them in the washing machine.. I have always done that. Ihave a seat in storage I pulled out to find the same thing. Do I soaked them in a hot bucket with some easy off bam & then washing machine.

the straps dont come off the seat, its a Maxi rider. and it says not to use bleach because it can damage the straps and they wont work effectively in a crash ..

They don't come off at all? I thought the whole point of the maxi rider was that it can be used as a booster seat with an adult seatbelt when they get to that stage? So what do they just have to sit on the straps later?
All of my baby seats the straps come off. Bar the tether strap. There is like a metal rectangular bracket thing that the strap attaches too. You just need to angle that right to slip in through the slit in the seat & off.

A tsp of clove oil in a spray bottle of water. It kills the spores.

No they dont come off at all.. you roll them up and hid them away in a little bit at the bottom. I even rang safe and sound .
