    pressie for dh for anniversary

    hi all

I am a terrible TERRIBLE pressie buyer..lol...(lucky Secret Santa comes with suggestions)

I am completely stuck as to what to buy dh for our 3 years of being together present.

He already has a necklace and only wears our wedding ring when he isn't at work (can get stuck in machinery) so basically jewelery is out. The only thing he reads is the car mags while he's in the toilet (TMI ) so any kind of book is out and I don't want to get him a generic present- I want something lovey dovey without it being lovey dovey IYGWIM LOL

    Please help!

    TIA

    Does he like any sports?
Maybe an experience gift like skydiving or hot air ballooning if he is at all adventurous

You wrapped up in a giant bow.
    Cook him a big breakfast.
Cook some yummy things and go for a romantic picnic somewhere nice.
Make a nice card and fill it with lovey dovey thoughts, not just the stock standard "dear xyz, love from xyz". I've practically written a whole novel in a card lol
Kids and I did a morning tea for DH for fathers day fathers day there was 4 cupcakes but DD couldn't wait for hers haha.

My DH is incredibly hard to buy for but he prefers things like I've mentioned above.

    Hope you find something!

Perhaps there is a lovely lady here in BB who is an artist and can draw you a picture of you together or one of your DH with Gumnut? I can't draw to save my life but I'm sure there must be a least one artist among us???

Sorry DH- belly flop anniversary gift....

Well I rushed out the shops and loaded up the trolley with all sort of cooking bits and pieces and pretty things and stuff to cook up a storm (A roast) LOL...I am not a cooking kind of person...but Hey...DH would love it...

I get to the checkout...load up my stuff...smiling with self satisfaction...Give the girl my eftpos card and nope- No money...it couldn't be I think- pay day today!!...try again...nope...ahhh

    DAMN PUBLIC HOLIDAY!!!

Thankyou to the public holiday, my pay goes through tomorrow No money...arrrgggg

I was soo embarassed I left the store, loaded DD into the car and drove all the way across town and bought a choc chip biscuit mix, some cellophane and 2 chops with the measly $10 in my purse...

The cookies I have made look very cute in their little cellophane packs and the heartfelt card I wrote should keep DH happy and until I can get out again and buy the roast DH will have to enjoy the chops...LOL

sounds perfect to me, I'm sure he'll love it and thats the most important thing.

Oh I've done the same thing, DH and I have joint accounts and he's spent money without telling me and I've gone to do a shop only to walk out empty handed...sooo embarrassing!
