Infant/Baby First Aid Course including CPR

    Hi

My husband & I are looking to take an Infant/Baby First Aid Course. I have found 4 companies (thanks google) that offer such a thing but don't know which one to do...they all seem so similar. Does anyone have any good/bad experience with any course of this type? Feel free to PM.

    thanks!

My mothers group did one also run by Little Aid. It was really good, and included cpr. We got to practice on adult and baby dummys. I also found the choking content really helpful, and again we got to practice the techniques on the dummy.

I have now done 4 x First Aid and probably 7 or 8 CPR updates, all through different providers.

My favourite is probably St Johns. And no matter how many courses I do, I always learn something, and they are always useful.

I've done senior first aid with Australian Red Cross before and thats always good.
My mothers group did one thru kidsafe, and that was good as it was aimed at children and looked at safety issues (and some things I hadn't thought of) as well as the first aid and cpr.

Our MCHN organised one through Ambulance Victoria. We were taught by paramedics and they were excellent!
