Question How do i get rid of the wee smell??????

I'm not sure if this should be in this section or in toilet training lol DS(2) is really starting to show an huge interest in using his potty... but so far he is only keen on standing up and peeing "at" the potty... he tries to get it in there lol but it basically ends up all over the wall, the floor, the potty - you get the idea.. he is really not keen to sit- and at the moment i am encouraging him however he is comfortable...

BUT my bathroom REEKS OF WEE!!!! I clean it up right away with some spray and wipe and hot soapy water (oh yes the joy's) but it doesnt seem to be helping and the smell still lingers!!! Is there some magic "wee de-smell-enator" out there?????

    Any tips or ideas????

TIA!!! And mods feel free to move this to TT area if you think its better suited, but i dont really want any tips on that- just the smell thing

Trying popping a dish of bi-carb in the bathroom to absorb the smell. Our toilet (not the actual toilet but the room) has a strange smell if I don't have a dish of bi-carb in there. I just change it once a week and it seems to keep the stench at bay (insert winky man here )

glad it worked for you! we use vinegar in everything, we even put some in every load of washing to get rid of any smells in clothing, and it keeps the colours where they're supposed to be xo
