how to cook corn beef in the slow cooker?

I've never cooked corn beef before, but bought it by accident, so I'm going to use it. How do you cook it in the slow cooker? Do I still have enough time? (it's 11am here).
    TIA

    Corned beef is really simple,
Chop up some onions and throw them in, put in a splash of vinegar, some mixed spice, a little brown sugar, A lemon cut in quaters, rinse the beef off in cold water, pop it in your slow cooker and then fill with hot water until the meat is covered, slow cook until dinner time.
I'm not usually one to measure my ingredients so sorry I can't give you exact measurements, I just throw it all in.

me i add a fair bit of vinegar lol, brown sugar and bay leaves. pop the meat in, top with water and then turn it on high for about an hour and then on low for the rest of the day till we are ready to eat. The meat just falls apart, delish.

I put mine on low at 8-9am with water to cover, 1/4 cup of white vinagar, few black pepper corns, couple of cloves, a bay leave or two and an onion.

Take it off at 6pm when DH gets home! Falls apart and is super yummy, kids favourite meal.
