I've been doing a lot of online shopping for this years Christmas pressies because I haven't had much time to go shopping.

I bought the girls some stuff from the Smiggle website, they had free post if you spent over $50. It was so much cheaper for me to do that than to drive the hour to go there. I got my order in 2 days . One of the items was missing, I rang them and they're sending it out to me today. I'm really happy with their service, I'll definitely buy online again.

I've also bought a few Wii/PS games on ebay, I find they're cheaper there than the games stores.

Apart from that I don't really have any bargain secrets.

LOOOVVEEEE christmas. Unfortunately because I love it so much I have usually gotten all the kids christmas shopping done by July. I love shopping about as much as I love christmas

I buy / layby things when they are on sale. I have bought the boys a wooden table and trainset earlier this year from toys'r'us - half price. And i have bought and laybyed some smaller presents and costumes from various places. I have also put on layby a big wooden dollhouse (sale item) for my DD and have nbeen picking up Barbie dolls when they come up on sale.

So the only presents I have left to buy are for DH (no idea what to buy him - probably something borring like shoes) and then a small something for my parents, my nephew and siblings who will be in Canberra (we only buy for those we see on the day, limit of $20 pp). Easy Peasy.

I haven't started yet.... And have no idea what to get any of the people we buy for.

My family secret santa though, I decided to make her present, she's getting handmade lip balm and handmade bath scrub... and maybe something else if I can find a good enough recipe.

I love christmas and christmas shopping! All of DS's presents are on layby as are my nieces and nephews. All I have left to get is DH and mum and her partner, and some small things like chocolates for my brothers.

I am really enjoying christmas shopping this year- I do some instore and some online. My fav website at the moment is Book Depository Uk, their books are sooo cheap and they do free postage world wide, being a teacher I love love love books, so I usually always give books as part of christmas gifts.

I have also found a good website called mini gourmet that has some really nice kids aprons on it, including ones done in boy theme.

This year I am doing hampers for the parents/ inlaws, I have ordered some plain aprons and shopping bags which the kids and I are going to decorate, then I am going to add probably a cook book, bottle of wine, a few a novelty kitchen items from ikea.

    Thank you all soo much!

I love christmas time and I love shopping for it too. But this year we are in a new town with very few shops, and most of my normal online haunts don't really have much this year, well that Im interested in anyhow! :P

Im loving these sites though, a bookshop that has free delivery anywhere is awesome! I can see them getting some of my money this year!

If you go through the book depository, they have a mirror site for the USA, same books, still get sent from the UK but what with the dollar so good, the books might even be cheaper.

Keep a list in you purse of who you have to buy for, then when you see something on sale you can get it & put it away. I write my list in Jan so I have all year to shop, then there isn't a huge amount of $ spent in Nov/Dec, it's spread over the year
