Willy is to boy as ??? is to girl?

Ok, quick but maybe strange question. DH and I are trying to work out what to call our girls' girly bits. Willy works for boy bits, it is non offensive etc, but we can't work out what works for girls. Any suggestions?

Lol we use fanny too. That's what I've always used since I was a little kid. We use willy for boy bits too, and sometimes doodle but that just makes me laugh

We used Tiddle when I was a kid!! Haha! My daughter calls it a Pinny! When she got older we started using the proper terms but as a toddler she used the nickname.

Foofie shortened to foof!!! Actually it's funny we mainly say gina for Iz and she says it too but we call J's a pee pee. She knows it's called a penis though and told DH the other day that she was a boy now and had a penis

It's a fanny in our house for DD and a tonky for DS. They do know that the correct terms are vagina and penis, though.

we had the same issue in our house, i couldn't come up with anything that DP agreed with so DD1 now calls it her bitties. She calls boys parts bits or a loodle but girls parts are always bitties

Don't know! We just go with penis and vagina.
DH does say bits sometimes, as a generic term for genitalia, and DS translated that into bits and pieces. Not so keen on that.

DS knows penis and vagina, and you say anything different and he'll go off at you and correct you lol

When we were little, boys had a doodle and girls had a rude-y

I personally can't stand the word fanny...not sure why just find it revolting lol. I like vjayjay and while I kinda don't like the word vagina I still use it. We've taught ds1 Penis and he also knows Vagina. A few weeks ago we were sitting in the cinemas waiting for the credits to start and very loudly ds1 announces "Girls have Vagina's and boys have penis" luckily it was despicable me so pretty much all parents with their kids haha. ds2 we havent taught yet but I think its important for kids to know the proper names so they can better identify if anything was to happen and also I just feels it kinda gives it a bit more authority using the grown up words, kinda like you are teaching them, this is something private etc etc

Unfortunately it's best to use the correct terms if anything was to happen, it isn't dismissal in court.
As an example 'flower' could be dismissed.

we use the words vagina and penis, I read something once that children who know the proper anatomical names for their genitals are less likely to be abused, and more likely to speak out if they are abused. Made sense to me anyway.

We'll be using the correct terms too, nicknames freak me out a tad, and as PP have mentioned, children are less likely to be molested, or have it go unnoticed, if they use the correct terms. "Don't touch my wee wee" may entice predators, but, "Don't touch my vagina" is a lot more forceful, kwim?

I read something once that children who know the proper anatomical names for their genitals are less likely to be abused, and more likely to speak out if they are abused.
It's because they're less likely to feel ashamed about talking about it. If mum and dad can't talk about genitalia using proper terminology, how can they? So the affected kids take longer to figure out how to say something.
And as CBG says, it stands up in court if the awful does happen.

Definitely recommend using penis and vagina.
