Eyelash Extensions

I'm thinking about getting them done, just wondering if anyone's had them done and your thoughts on them?

How much did you pay? How often do you have to have them done?

Also, does anyone know if they do any damage to your existing lashes?

I just found a place close to me that does them, they only last 6-8 weeks though and take up to 90 mins to put on so i am guessing they are expensive! They are having a 20% off eyelash extension month though which is pretty tempting, the before and after photos look great too!

No idea on cost but I've done a little research on it in the past and apparently they don't last long at all so are better as a once off for special occasions.

But I do know eye lashes have a pretty quick turn over, as in they are always falling out and regrowing.

My friend gets hers done - it costs $90 - $120 to get them put in, then $60 every 2 weeks afterwards to maintain them (replace ones that have grown/fallen out).
Me personally, I'd only get them done for a special occasion as they're so expensive, but I do live in a smaller town so if you're in a more metro area you can find them cheaper because there will be more salons competing for business
They do look amazing though, I just think the cost of the upkeep is a tad excessive. Much prettier than false lashes so if you're after something great for a special occasion, I'd definitely recommend them!

My batting my long eyelashes as I type. Eyelash extensions are amazing.

Cost: $80
Took 90 mins to apply
I've had mine in for a week so far. Some have started to fall out.

Pros: they look smokin hot

Cons: hard to wash face. I've been using wipes around my eyes as I don't want the lashes to get wet. It's almost getting to the stage where I want to pull them out and rub my eyes.

I only get them for special occasions, I wouldn't get them regularly.

I think I'll give them a miss by the sounds of it, might go looking for a super good mascara instead.
