    Dumb question about nappy cream

    Hi all,

There has been some discussion about how to treat nappy rash with creams but do you only need to put it on when they look like they are about to get a rash or already have a rash or do you use it every time you change their nappy as a preventative thing?

And it is only nappy creams with zinc that you need to use liners with or any cream (eg Moo Goo) with cloth nappies.

Sorry for all the stupid questions!

    Thanks

    Vo

    No dumb questions Vo!

I only use it when I see a rash. They're always a surprise to me lol. Keeping them clean and dry is far more of a preventative than any cream.

Liners need to be used for any 'barrier' cream, so anything with petrochemicals or zinc or oil based creams.
nything that soaks in or is water soluble, so moo goo, teatree oil etc nope no liner.
