Looking at an Asko dishwasher.... do you have one?

Heya,

I just popped down to Retravision to get something for work and have been seduced by an Asko 5131 (ss). It's on sale till Saturday - a couple of hundred bucks cheaper than usual.

I know people recommend Asko generally, does anyone have this model or any advice?

Hi there

We have an Asko, have been using it for only a couple of weeks but very happy with it so far - it's cleaning really well. Not sure what the model is, it's the one that has no buttons on the face of the door, they're concealed at the top. It's a bit noisier than the one my parents have (which is a Bosch), although theirs is almost completely silent, but the noise is not a problem and it's certainly not really loud or anything.

We had one in our first townhouse... but we sold that about 10 years ago. I do recall it being far superior to the +$2000 Miele we bought for the next townhouse!!! We'd certainly buy an Asko again.

Now I just have to look at our budget and try to persuade DH
If only I was better at doing that thing where you make them thing the idea was theirs in the first place
