Spraytan - How long to wait after application before showering?

I have just had my first spraytan this afternoon. The sheet my beautician gave to me said the tan develops between 2-3 hours after application (finished spraying at 7pm) and that it's best to wait 6-8hrs before having first shower. I thought that was going to be ok but I just don't think I can wait until the morning.... If I have a shower around 11pm, no sooner, do you think that would be ok? I will try not to, at least it's cool tonight would be worse if it was hot. TIA

It depends on the tan... I recommend you sleep in it JIC.... good luck and lots of moisturiser once you wash it off, the more hydrated the skin the longer it lasts!

Thanks Joeve, I think I have I'm over it now so am going to bed and will look forward to my shower when I wake. For once I might get up early without any moaning & groaning

I wouldn't shower until the morning either. I used to get mine done after work and then go home and stink the bed out with the coconut scent they used

Hope you don't get up moaning and groaning

Another for showering in the morning
Also DO NOT get a fright in the morning, it looks dark at first, but a lot of it will wash off.

    Yay for spraytans!!!

I would wait until the morning as well. Just caution when drying with the towel, I always blot away the water and moisturise straight away.

Have fun with your new spraytan, always makes me feel like a million dollars

Thanks for the help everyone. I woke up around 2am and felt really itchy (I have really sensitive skin) so I had a quick cool shower using no soap and moisturised well before I went back to bed. DS woke me at 6.15 so jumped straight in the shower and had a better rinse this time. Emma, yes I did notice the wash off and must admit was worried about being orange or blotchy but I am really happy with it. My skin has a nice healthy glow. I have a wedding to go to on Sat so am excited to get all dressed up nice and tanned .
