Melbourne Factory Outlet for Kitchen Appliance - Oven

Are these closely guarded secrets? Do they still exist?

I searched and could only find the Clive Peeters outlet in Richmond but they didn't have much.

I need a good oven as cheap as possible

Greys auctions worth a shot?? Not sure of any others they are all so competitive that most will bargain down a fair bit anyway I think.

upright gas 8o litre and not too small over the top with the burners. I didn't buy one on sale last night because I can't see how some of the smaller ones can fit more than one big pot at a time....

Tanks BG, I've already got a perfectly fine wall oven in my garage. I can't be arsed getting a cabinet-maker in to make a unit to hold it - I pulled the whole lot down to make way for my fridge

    no probs
may be easier to get it put back in than to find an oven to fit your gap by the sounds of it though!

no - no gap, dismantled the entire unit that held it to fit my humungo fridge. Got the wall oven from a friend but changed my mind, it's too much hassle. I want the oven on the other side of the kitchen anyway. I want something fairly easily moveable because I'm not doing the whole kitchen just yet...still saving for that!

    ah ok fair enough
reno's are a serious PITA (hence having the oven and cooktop - organised and paid for kitchen in house number 1 - DH's bro died, moved to house number 2 - paid extra for that one and got appliances that work, business went belly up - so we got left with cooktop and two ovens - one big double one - to sell).

so far I'm kinda liking the renos - short of the piddling budget. I'm currently welding things together with paint

Have a look at Eastern Auctions in Croydon, I'm sure they'd have ovens come up from time to time. We've picked up some great stuff from there

Also, have you looked in the Trading Post? Surely they'd have something!
