Help getting 2 year old to wear her glasses

This is for a friend

She has a 2 year old DD who is supposed to wear glasses at all times, but she wont keep them on. She also mentioned that DD hides them when she's not looking.
Any suggestions as to what she could do to encourage her to wear them?

She's tried a rewards chart, but that didn't work.

I don't know if this would work, but when DD wouldn't wear hats, we turned it into a big game. For a couple of weeks we put everything on our heads, called it ajar and fell about laughing. Now she loves hats, or even things that aren't hats, but could be put on your head and called a hat. When we go shopping she actually points out all the hats and wants to try them on!

The other thing they could try is getting some glasses for a doll, and talking about how cool/clever/ smart etc the doll is in her glasses. Again, not sure if it'd work, but these re the first ideas that sprung to mind.

My friend had the same issues. Was the child able to pick out the colour or style of glasses? Sometimes if they are involved in picking out the glasses then they may be more happy to wear them, as it's seen more as a "fashion accessory."
