IVF after a c-section - how long to wait?

Am just wondering, does anyone know how long we have to wait to do IVF again after a C-section? Is it a year? Longer? Shorter? Are there ANY rules on the matter?

    Just curious.

After me saying "oh my god, no more"...... I'm starting to think that I could *maybe* do it again......

I'm not aware there're any rules on this, unless you've had particular complications with the surgery maybe?
What sort of age gap would you like (at a mimumum)?

I was thinking of trying IVF again when DD is 18 months old - at the very least - probably closer to when she's 2.

I just heard somewhere that lots of Drs won't do IVF before a certain time period to let the body heal after c-section. Wasn't sure how true that was or the time period involved.

I want to b/f DD as long as I can though - and aim for the WHO guidelines of 2 years.

    Thanks Marcellus!

Great minds! I was the same, waiting till 2 I mean. (not that there's really a perfect time to do these things).
Some doctors seem to recommend a certain gap between pregnancies, but they all seem to say different things

    Yeah, that's what I thought - I'm sure I've heard different things.

I guess that 2 years is a good time to psyche myself up to do it again. Thankfully I have some frozen embryos so will be looking at FET. No idea how that all works so will be asking more questions this time next year I'm sure!
