Renovation

Hoping someone can help me with some general ideas of renovation
We would like (read I would like) to add 2 extra bedrooms to our house, on the back.
I have measured it out with some help from my dad., we have plenty of room.
The bedrooms would be side by side split by a hallway.
3 x 3 or 3 x 3.5
Has anyone added only bedrooms to there house?
What was the general cost involved?
I have heard various prices from $25k - upwards of $50k
Where do I start?
