Hi all
I'm wondering if someone can direct me to the information I would need to install a car seat anchor point in a Chrysler Voyager 1999. The manual is not clear on what a tether anchor bar is and I have no idea what I am looking for.
um absolutely no idea sorry,
but maybe take it to a baby retail shop and ask them if they know where it goes?? or maybe ring chrysler or visit them and get them to point out what exactly it is??

I think if you're having trouble the best thing to do is go to a baby shop which helps install car seats. Hopefully they would have installed one into a car the same as yours before. you'll pay for it, but at least you'll know it's been done properly.
I don't know what state you are in but Qld Ambulance fit child restraints. You just make an appt and take it all in and they do it for you. Not sure about other states.
im not 100% sure as to what its called or who its run buy, but theres is a place in vic that fit and check your baby seats are fitted/installed properly, i think it might have something to do with vic roads, but not sure...
Does your car already have anchor points built into it? The reason I ask is because a "tether anchor bar" sounds like the little bar that you clip your car seat anchor strap to. I could be wrong though! I don't know about your model of car, but a lot of anchor points (or anchor bars) in cars are built into the back of the seats. Otherwise they can be on the parcel shelf or on the floor or roof in the back of a stationwagon. It is a small horizontal metal bar, about a couple of centimetres long. From what I've read, your car should have these somewhere, maybe give Chrysler a call if you can't find them?
