Hey Everyone.
I'm just courious to know in your 1st pregnancy while being pregnant, did you any have milk/colostrum come through and ''leak'' while being pregnant?? And how early in the pregnancy did it start to happen??
I'm suprised and amazed how soon mine has come through, but its all good.
TIA

i didn't have any with DS. but since he's been born i think i only leaked once or twice in the first couple of weeks...i never even needed the lovely cloth breast pads i bought![]()
Yep totally normal. With DD it was about 18ish weeks and DS was about 16.
I didn't get any leakage until after DD1's birth. Then I had bath towels stuffed down my top and couldn't go anywhere for two weeks... I was a fountain.
i didn't have any when pregnant with luke
I didn't know I had colostrum in until my sister told me to check at about 21 weeks, so I squeezed my boob and there it was!! LOL.
It's my first pregnancy too... I don't get very much, and some days it takes forever to get any out... Hopefully I will get more when baby comes!!
I noticed colostrum at about 16 weeks and was leaking at night by 20 weeks. I thought it was pretty cool![]()
Thanks. I'ts good to know others got it early on as well. I spun out when i woke up with wet patches on my shirt a few weeks ago, lol.
I've had it since probably 20 weeks. I've found if I lean on my boobs while I'm lying down/sleeping/whatever I will get wet patches and sometimes it'll just happen. I've also found sometimes I have leaked when I've gotten very emotional about something and they literally drip after dtd. DH is terrified of them![]()
Yarrawin - funny you say about your DH being terrified of them cause MINE is the SAME!![]()
Its crazy! I even said to him the other night when I accidentally leaked on him when I was cuddled up to him "I don't know what the big deal is, it's just colostrum, it's natural and you're gonna get this on you anyway soon enough you know, and it won't just been a weeny little bit like that!".
His response? "Yeah, but in the form of vomit... that's different!". Seriously??I think I'd prefer the non-vomit option personally, but to each their own I guess!
Ohhhhh, wow he truly is! And i agree with what your saying, am sure you will get a good laugh when that time does comes![]()
