lamb mince..

is it normally brown? (im sure it was pinky when i bought it)
i bought some on sunday from coles (use by the 2/12) and its brown, im used to beef mince that stays pink, so just making sure that its normal.
it smells like lamb

i'm sure it'll be fine, as long as it still smells fresh. maybe ring a local butcher and ask if it's normal?
