    Unhappy Bath time

DS loves bath time but HATES having water on his face/ being laid down in the bath. So he ends up screaming and fighting when I wash his hair - more specifically when I rinse the shampoo out.
Does anyone else have this problem?
What do you do to minimise the screaming?

we don't have that issue, but my parents used to use lots of toys to distract, and a big pyrex jug to rinse!

do you think it would help to have a toy doll or something whcih your DS could "rinse" while you rinse him?

I use the washer to rinse the shampoo out, takes a bit longer but doesn't put so much water over their face. I also ask her to look up at the ceiling when I try and do the top/sides of her head. She still gets a bit running down her face, but its better than pouring a jug over her head. Lol

We do it quick here too... LOL

The kids have gotten better though, we count the number of cups that go over their head, and they get 10 each, so by them counting they know its going to end really soon! And always have a facewasher handy to wipe their face and give them LOTS of praise for being so good.

Mine don't scream anymore but they do whinge and start crying sometimes.. but at least we've stopped the screaming!

ah poo. I was hoping someone would have a miracle cure...

I try to do it quickly but he stands up as soon as I pour water on his head - even if it's not on his face, if I lie him down he rolls over and sits up again and if I try to stop him he screams. Tried the washer too but he has so much hair now it doesn't get it all out anymore.

It's just so traumatic. I hate making him cry
