Do not order home delivery groceries when pregnant

Becuase you'll end up with multiples of everything!

Okay, so some of the stuff I actually needed, some of it I wanted...but DH bought baby carrots the other day and now I have two more bags. I'll be eating carrots for a while.

Aaannnd....becuase I was dipping them (raw) in mustard the other day, I now have a GIANT bottle of mustard...and am not sure I feel like it now. Bahahaha!

Oh well...I can laugh at myself.

This place is condiment central anyway, I am sure one more won't make any difference.

I've eaten nearly a whole giant jar of pickles this week, and now have a backup new jar. At least pickles are low cal, low fat!

The other week I ordered 4 x 1kg boxes of pears - instead of the 4 pears I thought I was ordering.

I am surprised that the whole order has NO junk or treats in it...very healthy.

Oh and I also have 2kg of small dice frozen veg (you know the type)....but that's fine becuase P eats them every night and I make soup with them every night...and 2kg of chopped onion. Also fine, becuase I love onion like I love my child.

6 tins of tuna in springwater.

2 packs of thin ricecakes (my staple lunch with the tuna)

2kg of red apples (another everyday staple)

4 jars of salsa...two mild, two medium...which was a genuine mistake becuase I forgot to delete the mild from the order when I changed it to medium. (to dip the carrots in)

I can't stand going to the physical supermarket when pregnant...the smells make me gag!

LOL. It's all a bit of fun. Just make sure you read your order through really well BEFORE you press 'submit'. LOL.

But yeah, it is a lot easier. Esp since I don't drive. More expensive though, I find.

Shame I can't order new boobs. Mine are killing me.

Its fine, just get your DH to check it over once you're done.. LOL

Pears are all gone now, a friend has a thermomix so she made fruit wraps for me (like roll ups but healthier) and some pear jam.

I'm totally stuffed from my hungry jacks' I had for lunch before so no chance of ordering too much surely???? hehehe

Yes - eat before you order hehehe.

Last night was my 'treat night', so I am allowed to go off my dietician's eating plan for one night and have takeaway.

Little did I know I'd order so much that I'd have to eat the leftovers today.

Basil Chicken and Salt and Pepper squid, here I come.

I was going to try it out when baby arrived...

I've gone to the shop and bought frozen spinach. It was 3 for $2. I bought three, with the intention of using them in this recipe, and that recipe etc. I still have 2 in the freezer. I forgot which recipes.
