Last night i had the worst sleep! I dreamt me, dp SIL my sis, BIL my other SIL, mother were in a bus on our way to the ceremony, I said to DP, ****, we better go get ready or we are going to be late. When mum and i were outside getting our luggage to go get ready a card fell from her bag. On the card was my XP's details and a picture of him and his 'mate' (lol dont know if it was his partner or not, I dont think he is gay IRL) anyway, he had changed his name - and this freaked me out (XP was deported for violence reasons & constant law breaking which ALWAYS involved violence) I started to think 'crap if he's changed his name he will come back to Australia and he's gonna take DD' ...
So then I turned to my mother - with the most disgusted look on my face and said to her ' Are you F***ing serious? ... WHY do you have these details?' and her response was 'oh its always good to keep in touch' ... I then said to her 'Thats fine, but if you have him in your life you are not welcome in ours, so I suggest you f**k off!'
Yea - um nice wedding day huh?
Anyways - this dream has really bothered me all day. Im just fearful of him coming back, and although its been 3 years since we had any contact I would like to keep it that way ...
What are your thoughts? Does this relate to me changing my name and letting go of the past 'links' we have with it?
hun, i think that it would be quiet scary and if ur worried maybe get some legal advise n if u feel the need to do this i prob would..
my dad kidnapped me from outside my aunties house in the 80's i was about 3 n it was hard to get me back according to my mum causei was under his name and he was the father etc.
she changed my name due to that through court or something not quiet sure but i prob would look into it just to be on the safe side..
