Viddal Sassoon Curl magic cone shaped wand

Hiya, has anyone got one of these, I have just come across it online.

I have dead straight hair and wouldnt mind curls.

Does it work, meaning it stays curly for hours?

    Thanks

If you have a normal tong curler you can just use it the exact same way... you don't have to use the clamp, just wrap it around the whole lot. It's a bit of a gimmick (the whole no clamp thing) BUT in saying that if you don't have any curling tongs at all then this would be great for getting that look. I've always used my curling tongs without using the clamp, makes it so much quicker when doing lots of peoples hair for weddings etc.

I think what i'm trying to say (in a round about way) is try with your normal curling tongs first, you'll get the same effect..... if you don't have tongs at all then go for it, i'd say it'd be great!

I've been seeing heaps of ads for these lately and am tempted, i can't get my GHD curls to work properly! I think it would be the same as any other device, you need to get the right product to make it hold if you want them to stay. How much did you find them for online?
