Make sure when they meet that one or the other can't escape outside/race outside in fear.
If kitty runs away, let him/her.
Kittens usually win the kitten/puppy battle though :-)
Hi there
I have an 8 week old labrador puppy coming to join my little family soon and was hoping you could help me with introducing her to my seven month old female kitten. At the moment my kitty has the run of the house with having access to outside any time during the day, and this could produce a problem once puppy moves in. Do I keep her inside for awhile and slowly let them meet or do I leave her outside and let them fight it out?? Kitty will sleep inside at night and puppy outside I think.
Any ideas? TIA!

Thank you.
She is pretty independent.... I definately think she will try to dominate!! I will introduce them inside as you say so that they cant run too far.
