How do I clean a cradle (wood)

My SIL has loaned us her wooden cradle. I want to clean it before we use it (with natural products)...any advice/suggestions?

I use teatree oil, rub it over with that.

Thanks Kazbah - do you wipe it down with water after or just leave the tea tree to dry?

Nope, just the oil, it will soak into the wood and give a bit of moisture to it.
