Question Mystery rash - can anyone tell me what it could be??

About a week ago i started feeling really itchy on my back just where my bra does up and i was scratching like mad and i asked DP if anything was there and he said no just red from where i had been scratching. He kept telling me to stop as i will just aggravate it.

The spot where its most itchy is now a big lump with 7 little white spots on it and i have a rash going from there all the way around to the side of my left boob. It is VERY itchy but also VERY sore. when i press down on my side it is absolutely excruiating and i am having trouble sleeping as i cant lie on that side.

I am seeing the doctor today as it has gotten alot worse over night. But any thoughts on what it could be??

Thats what im thinking as well.. but not sure what kind of bite.

We googled all different kind of bites and rashes last night and the only one that looked remotely like mine was a poison ivy rash but i havent been anywhere near it.... and how would it get my back??

Sounds like it could be hives.

Just read it again, no it doesn't sound like hives.

Could it be an allergic reaction? Maybe to your washing powder, or if you've got a new bra- the material/ chemicals in it? Hope it's nothing nasty.

My first thought was Shingles too. I've had it twice and it sucks. Ouch ouch ouch.

It won't be spread unless your LO comes in contact with the fluid from the blisters...so good hand washing should avoid that.

    Good luck!
