Still waiting for AF, is this normal?

Well, DS hasn't been exclusively breastfed since he was about 5 days old. By the time he as a month I was expressing only 4 times a day (and not at night). By the time he was 6 weeks, expressing only 3 times a day and by the time he was 8 weeks, I had ceased expressing. Back at my 6 week postnatal check-up my Ob had told me to expect my period in the next few weeks. Well, it's been 15 weeks now and still no sign of AF apart from one day of a tiny bit of spotting at about 6 weeks postnatal and again about 3 weeks ago.

Can this be normal? Or should I see my Dr or Ob? I usually have a regular 31 day cycle and I got AF back 6 weeks after DD was born.

Oh, and I'm definately NOT UTD

My AF was all over the place after DS was born, I was still breastfeeding though until I feel pg again. I use to have a very regular cycle and that never returned in 11 months. From what you have said it sounds normal to me, from what other mums in my mums group has said, even those not b/f, some had it return within a month of ceasing, 2 have stopped for about 6 months now and are still waiting.

I didn't get AF back until DS was almost one.
