Same here hun. Sometimes a night feed wakes my DD right up! I find gentle rocking after the feed & stroking when I put her into her cot normally helps her find sleep herself but not always (like between 1-3am this morning lol!).
During the day I roughly follow a little play -feed- big play -quiet time- small feed -down for sleep routine & find this works well for her.

its hard because i dont know whether its because shes just started being awake in the day or shes just not tired its confusing coz shes still little so shes transitioning from sleeping all day to being awake sometimes and i dont remember the last time how i dealt with it i dont even remember DS when he wasnt aawake in the day

They're all different. DS was like this sometimes, especially after the first month or so. The feed-to-sleep thing kinda went in and out of fashion over the first year or so, then ended altogether

My DD only ever fed to sleep for the first month or so. After that, she was always wide awake after a feed, and needed me to help her to sleep either by rocking or patting her.

Whoops I didn't see your ticker on my phone so I didn't click she is so young. But it was the same for me when DD was the same age. DH would have to rock her to sleep in his arms for quite some time but this eventually got out of hand and we taught her to self settle in bed after a feed around 9-10 weeks.

DD usually feeds on waking instead. If she's really unsettled I'll try & sometimes it'll work. Other times she'll just bite me coz its not what she wants

DD3 was exactly the same at that age. I would feed her, then DH would cuddle her to sleep. Well, it was more like dh would sit down on the lounge or bed, watch tv or read a magazine, and dd3 would fall asleep on his chest lol. But she wouldn't do that for me, only him. At around 2 months of age she started going to sleep in bed without being held.

Yep, DS was the same at that age, then he started feeding to sleep when rocking etc stopped working at about 3 months I think. So she still might change and want to do it later.
