A question on behalf of a friend

Okay well she didnt ask but I wanted to lol

She had a 5 day transfer and had some cramping and spotting on day 5 post transfer.

SHe is on the progesterone pessaries and had some more cramping and spotting today. Shes going for the BT tomorrow.

Does the pessaries delay AF? (I'd think so?) I dunno cramping and spotting day 5 post t/f got me excited. She didnt get this last time.

    Thanks

The pessaries are suppose to help keep the lining nice and strong, but in all but 1 of my failed cycles AF arrived even if I was taking progesterone support.

Fingers crossed for your friends BT tomorrow...

Yes, the prog pessaries can (but don't always) delay AF. Unfortunately, like all these things, the cramping/spotting etc might be symptoms of pregnancy, but equally they might be symptoms of impending AF.

GL to your friend! I had implantation bleeding at 9dpo and got my BFP at 12dpo. I wasn't on the pessaries at the time though.

Thanking both. I'm trying to be so positive for her. I guess it's all I can do. That and listen to her. I so hope this turns out positive for her. It's breaking my heart seeing her like this
