Exclamation i cant win with my poor babies :(( PLS HELP

k well i have 2 probs right now and im going crazy trying to fix them!!
1st. my poor baby girl cant poo, well she cant do it alone.. she has been on formula now and has been for bout 2 weeks now and she is severly constipated i had her on NAN gold n it was bad her poo was like rocks.. and then i changed her to lactogen as thats what my boys where on and they were perfect on it not one issue and she is now having major probs..
she iterally cant poo on her own no matter how hard she tries nothing happens and there is def poo in there.. she has been in soooooo much pain its not funny the last 4 days she literally screams for hrs on end and is always drawing her legs up and etc.. i have to hold her legs up and seperate her bum cheeks when she is pushing n constantly douse iher lil bum hole in water mixed wwith oil to help manipulate it.. its soo hard im soo scared to do it but if i dont she is hysterical... also cause she cant poo she is vomiting non stop and its projecting straight out.. even when she poos she is still in pain and often falls asleep exhausted her lil eyes are bright red n her face is flushed so she is constantly in pain from not being able to poo and being able to poo....
arrrggghhhh i wanna cry i cant handle seeing her like this its not right
soooo i took her to the gp today n she said her bowel is full of poo n when ever she touched amali's tummy she went crazy... the gp said put her on novalac for constipation n try it for aweek but as she has been on 2 diff formulas already she dosent know if its gonna work but try it... she has also lost weight and she was gaining just fine..
so she stil hasnt poo'ed and is very much distressed the dr said to stop helping her poo as there is alot of risks that can occur and the fact if she doesnt do it she will become dependant on me doing it for her she literally doesnt know how to push it out..
has anyone seen any similar cases?? anyone know what else i can try??
    cause ive tried nearly everything...
2nd thing my son wont EAT!!! his adhd and is on catapres but he wont eat anything he always says his not hungry or he will say his sick..
i fight with him for hrs but he wont so i leave food for him to eat by himself when his ready but often its left untouched...
i feel like screaming... i can see his losing weight in which i dont like as his already skinny so he cant really afford to lose weight everyone has tried to get him to eat they take him for a walk and offer him food but to no aveil..
    wat can i do???
pls help me as i feel like im about to break down... its killing me to watch them like this and not being able to help or understand... nothing is working out the way i have tried...

Which son is it?? Often those meds can affect appetite. What about trying smoothies but bulk it up with some appetite stuff for kids?

Re. poos - i'm going to guess you've tried everything else eg - cranberry juice, coloxyl, maybe the dr could try a supp???

Hope things start improving soon. xx

my youngest ds.. its being going on for a while now but i just tried to improvise with other things to bribe him to eat and it worked but now na he wont have a bar of it...
i have tried everything u can on a 27 day bubs but nothing... they dont wanna try anything else as it could make it worse and as she is so young they worry they will irritate her bowel too much.. the formula was the best option...

im hoping soo much i dont think i can hope anymore lol

Take your DD to hospital & they will help her, same thing happened to my Dh's nephew. (I think she may be too young for the things you can do yourself eg: prune juice ect)
for your son... I have just put my DD on an iron suppliment I bought from the chemist to get kids to eat. It worked really well & I only needed to give it to her for a few days.
HTH, good luck with it all, I hope your poor little girl gets emptied out soon!

I agree with the Iron supplement - is it Incremin? It can help with appetite. The catapres could be stuffing things up. I give DS milkshakes (rice milk) with banana, blueberries, strawberries - you might even like to add Sustagen. I add a raw egg too. To get him interested maybe let him press the buttons on the blender.

Thats the stuff I was thining about - couldn't remember the name of it.
You can get sustaegn in vanilla in choc. Might be fun for him to think they make milkshakes

My early childhood nurse recommended glycerin (sorry spelling???) capsules for my DS when he was a little constipated you insert them and they lubricate the passage so to speak. You can get them from the chemist. If it is as bad as it sounds I would head to the hospital they should be able to help you. Hugs I know how hard it is when they are in pain.

I only met them a couple of years ago & he's 7yo now but he has had a problem since birth. I think his mum said he had slow bowel or lazy bowel something like that, usually they keep it under controll on their own but when it gets really bad he is in agony & then will hold onto it cause it hurts too much to push out & they take him to hospital to get it out. I'm not sure what they actually do though cause I didn't feel comfortable asking iykwim.

And it is the iron stuff lulu mentioned, you said you have already tried it, but did you give it a chance to work? I can honestly say it worked straight away with DD (next day) & my mum had told me most of my nephews had been on it at 1 time or another & it worked magic on all of them too.

Oh ok I guess I have to wait n see how she goes on this formula but if it keeps goin I will b taking her to the hospital
As for increment I have used it a couple of times during his 3 nearly 4 yrs of life it's never really made a difference the dr said some kids will have great outcomes some won't
I'm going to try it again but I'm not going to expect much but would luv it if it worked..
