And the Daggiest T-Shirt Award goes to...

Today I'm wearing my fave t-shirt of all time. It's about 8 years old, looking pretty tired (no suprises there) with a huge picture of Elvis on it, bought for me by a mate who visited Gracelands. Everything seems easier when I'm wearing this shirt, although I usually hope and pray no one rings the door bell when I'm in it!

Surely I'm not the only one with a t-shirt that is well past retirement age but can't bear to part with it? Or stop wearing it?

    You are definitely not alone!

My fave is a tatty old Jimi Hendrix one, it's a dirty grey colour (it used to be white) with holes in the armpits and a mark where I once accidentally drew on it with permanent marker. I love it.

My DH is the king of old worn out tshirts! Thankfully he rarely wears them in public.

My husband still has a couple marilyn manson t-shirts he bought pre-me (pre-2001). They are definately looking worse for wear. He mainly wears them to vote and to the shops at this time of year. People tend to give him a wide berth when he wears them lol! It doesn't work so well if DS is with us though.

    So you're definately not alone

Nope you're not alone.. thats pretty much my whole wardrobe.. LOL

I say unless they have holes in places where nipples can poke out - they're still ok to wear out in public

My fave was one with Andy Warhol on the front. It eventually had too many holes in it to wear.

Before that, I used to love one that had a really cute pin-up girl on the front. I was devastated when it got a hole, so DH cut it up and framed the front for me. :-D

yup, I have one that I got on a camp when I was about 13. Can't believe it still fits actually! It must have been HUGE on me back then!!! But I usually only wear it for home PT sessions or cleaning

Oh I have a plain cotton one that I got from Target years ago. It's so well broken in and comfortable but does have some holes in the front. I wore it when my Mum was over and she asked if I had any better tops to wear. She just didn't get it.
