DD is starting to burst out of her snuggle bed which is placed in her cot. It's been a wonderful bed for her the last 9 weeks but she needs to move out of it. Last night we tried her in an empty cot in a sleeping bag which she has used in the snuggle bed but she was so confused & became quite distressed at the 'openness' so we popped her back into the snuggle bed & she fell straight asleep. Any ideas on how to keep her feeling more enclosed safely in her cot? She won't be wrapped either. DH would love a larger snuggle bed but I think they only come in the one size.
I have no helpful advice hun...other than- have you tried those 'baby sleep positioners'. I used one with Florence in the UK when she went from her basinette to the cot. She was great with it and it helped her feel supported and cosy. She eventually grew out of that too only because she was moving around so much. They are great as they are not restrictive to baby size.
Good Luck hun. Hope that helps in some way. xoxoxo
Just google 'baby sleep positioner' in images to give you an idea of what I mean if you haven't heard of it. They sell them in Aus too. xoxo
I had a quick look at what it is and do you happen to know someone that sews? It looks like a basic enough setup that you could possibly make. Not sure where you'd get the bark flakes though
