I think we are done

Well after about 33 months, and much tooing and froing between my partner and I about when the best time to wean is, I talked with DS on Sat about not having any 'boo' left and that there would be no feed at dawn (which was our last feeding time). He seemed to accept it at the time and agreed that he wouldn't have 'boo' anymore.

It is a good thing, it will be good to get my body back but is also a sad time... I am still hoping it is the right time and that he was really ready. It means we are waking up an hour earlier too as he use to stay in bed feeding and fall back to sleep.

Oh well I suppose after not feeding for 3 days there is no going back now

thanks so much everyone for being apart of my journey. Yes Jen13 I am a little sad especially as he was still asking for it but now he seems to have accepted it and is fine with milk in a poptop bottle.
