I wish I could be there for her tomorrow :(

Tomorrow is DD's last day of primary school. She had her graduation on Monday night where she made a speech. She came out and started her speech and burst into tears, which made me burst into tears. Her speech was beautiful, even with the tears. Afterwards they were awarded their certificates, again she burst into tears.

So tomorrow the whole school do a circle where the grade 6's go around and say goodbye to everyone (like at the end of a wedding). I'm expecting more tears and I can't be there because I'm working and can't take the day off. Dh will be there, he's having the day off because I couldn't but I want to be there to give her a big mum hug at the end of her last day of primary school.

it's horrible when work gets in the way of special events, at least your DH will be there!
