We were going to go with this spelling, or Analise but thought she might get some teasing when she when kids discovered the word Anal in her name.

I like Annelise or Annaliese, but I worry that the second one will lead to a lifetime of having to 'spell it out' to people... but then, however you spell it, there's a fair few variations so chances are that's going to happen regardless! I personally would go with Annelise because it's the shorter spelling and simpler to understand itms :/ Just my two cents! FWIW I think it's a really, really pretty name

It does. We spelt DS name "Jackson" for that very reason, and I have to spell it out every single time.

Hmmm, well I must be slow (or not that way inclined ) I didn't even think about Anal Still, teenagers can be cruel. But then, often they're cruel regardless!
